what is adf in printer

We have mentioned four types of printer ink cartridges in our previous blog posts. If you're still unsure, this post will help you understand the differences and answer your question.

WHAT DO THE TYPES OF INK CARTRIDGE ACTUALLY DO?

The adf cartridge is the type with the built-in air fuel mixture for a denser print quality. The odl cartridge is the one that contains just plain old dye particles (this is what most people believe). The qsd cartridge sets new standards and is the most expensive.

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF THE ADF?

The adf cartridge has an air-fuel mixture inside, which is lighter and more energetic than the dye and formula in the odl ink. Lighten the air-fuel mixture, you get a denser ink, so when your print reaches paper, it gets darker with a better coverage of your design. This feature is not available on other cartridges. You can also control how much fuel you want to add to your ink as well as control how much light passes through to give you different shades of gray from black.

The odl cartridge does not have the air-fuel mixture that adf has. You get lighter and stronger colors and a higher level of quality. However, to get the same high level of coverage, it will take more ink to fill in every area of your print.

Since the qsd is an ink made with pigment particles, it will give you nice dark text and exceptionally clear image quality compared to the other three types. It even has an adjustable shade strength of black, so you can get a perfect black for your print. This makes it ideal for printing photographs. The qsd is also very safe and does not release any harmful chemicals into your environment or skin when used on paper or cloth.

You can get better image sharpness with the qsd, so you can use this ink more than once on your prints. You'll also find that qsd is able to resist fading when exposed to light. It's great for home and personal use because it doesn't stain your clothes or skin.

Your print will last longer with the qsd ink cartridge. Usually, you need to replace a new qsd cartridge every 6 months or so – but with the adf cartridge, there is no such limitation since you can use it over and over again.
